Hey everyone. My name’s Beck 
I’m from Melbourne, Australia. I’m 16 years old.
I’m on a student exchange to Japan in 2009 with Youth For Understanding (YFU) for the Year program.
I am one of the two Australian YFU exchange students going to Japan.
I’m going to be living in Iyo in the Ehime prefecture (shikoku island)
I leave on the 16th of March ’09 and return on the 11th of January ’10.

Sorry to pop up out of the blue all of a sudden, but I really got excited reading this!
I’m Jessica from the Netherlands, also 16 years old and will be attending the YFU exchange program ’09 to Japan as well!
My location has already been confirmed. Last month I received a phone call from YFU NL, that I got a scholarship from Hiroshima Educational Board. Which automatically means I’ll be located there in the perfecture.
Ah, I can’t explain what I feel reading your story all of a sudden! XD It really got me excited! Haha~
I hope we can mail/talk to eachother through msn to get to know eachother before meeting! We’ll meet there in Tokyo, that’s for sure! ;D
